Minister-owned and controlled companies, plus the four NPBD public corporations. Ferguson, ScotRail, HIAL, MacBrayne and Wave Energy Scotland are not public corporations unless ONS says so. Annual-report cash is not a directory envelope. Rows are not added together.

How to read this page

ONS is the only authority for the words “public corporation”.
SRH body cash Grant in Aid is not Transport Scotland’s payer-side charge.
SRH paying ScotRail Trains or the Sleeper is intra-group, not a second GiA.
CMAL harbour Grant in Aid is not vessel loans and not capital grants.
HIAL public subsidy is revenue plus capital. Capital loan is a separate instrument.
MacBrayne CHFS contractual income is a contract subsidy, not Grant in Aid, and not CalMac profit.
Wave Energy Scotland small-company turnover is not Grant in Aid. HIE is the parent.
Crown Estate surplus is paid into the Consolidated Fund — it is not Grant in Aid.
Prestwick’s profit is a result. The £43.4m loan is historic stock — no new drawdown.
Ferguson grants are 802 programme support, not the ship-build payments.
CalMac profit and Ferguson deficit are results, not grant-in-aid.
